Combat of Giants Dinosaurs Strike is long name

A NEW game in the Combats of Giants franchise (the wa?) has been announced as Dinosaurs Strike by Ubisoft today, with the release date scheduled for this November.

The beat-em-up is directed at young players of the Wii, giving them the chance to play as one of 18 of the prehistoric animals such as Maximus Tyrantimus Rexamus, Stereophonicsasaurus, Terminalvelocityraptor, Triceraphony, etc. It even allows players to change their colour (which is good considering nobody knows what colour they where, really). And also to upgrade bones, horns, plates and basically ruin evolution to their tiny heart’s content.

What say ye, press release?

“Entirely based on real-time actions, players will need to act and react as quickly as possible, launching super attacks while protecting themselves from the natural casualties of the cataclysmic environment, such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.”

There’s a trailer out there but I’m not providing it. Know why? I’ll tell you why. Because it says at the beginning that the extinction event that affected the Jurassic period happened “150 million years ago.” Which upsets me.
