Develop Conference 2009

We’ve not even packed yet. And we can’t find our iPod.  But we’re up at 6AM tomorrow morning to traipse off to the Develop Conference in supposedly sunny Brighton.

Develop is an annual game development conference on the South Coast – think of it as the UK’s answer to San Francisco’s enormous GDC.  It’s the first time we’ve been, and we’re eager to see what all manner of industry types have to say in the frankly ludicrous amount of talks across the two days.

Since our attempt at live-blogging E3 through the standard site CMS, which proved awkward to say the least, we’re doing it differently for Develop.  We’re still going to blog at you with to-the-minute news from the conference, but it’s all nestled sweetly on its own site, over at develop.resolution-magazine.co.uk.

We’ll try to blog periodically tomorrow, though much of the day will be spent travelling.  Certainly keep checking back as of Wednesday morning, when everything kicks off properly.  And do get involved in the comments threads – we’d love to hear what you have to say about whatever topics come to the fore.
