Marvel’s Thor announced, to launch with film

THOR: THE Video Game will be launched alongside the film adaption of the Marvel series in summer 2011, SEGA has announced.

The game will be a third-person action adventure penned by Thor comic book author Matt Fraction which “elevates the story beyond the comic and movie universe.”

Players will fight beasts and enemies based in ancient Norse mythology with Thor’s trusty tool Mjolnir and will gain Valor in combat which they can use to upgrade his attacks and powers.

It will be coming to all consoles but whereas PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to get their full visual lovelies on, gamers with Wii, PSP and DS systems will have to settle for a comic-book style adventure.
