Namco announce Ridge Racer and Pac-Man for 3DS among five titles

NAMCO BANDAI Games has announced the development of five 3D-capable titles for the Nintendo 3DS.

Final titles, release dates and more detailed game information is yet to be revealed but the developer can confirm that it is bringing its racing series Ridge Racer to the platform.

The other titles include games from the Gundam, Super Robot and Dragon Ball franchises as well as classic reworkings of Galaga and Pac-Man with plenty of pop-up pill popping.

Alliteration is fun.

“We are convinced of the potential of the new stereogram technology on which the hardware is based,” said Shin Unozawa, Vice President of Namco.

“And we intend to make full use of it to provide fresh new experiences which continue to surprise and excite our customers in the way we have been doing for many years.”
