Obvious Jokes, Inc brings you the latest UK charts (late)

DEAD SPACE 2 has achieved escape velocity and rocketed straight to first place in the UK sales chart this week.

The third-person kill-things-em-up is now floating above LittleBigPlanet 2, which spun its way down to second place.

FIFA 11 is seeing a recovery this week – up from fourth to third place. Possibly thanks to all the publicity football has been getting in the past few days (all the newspapers keep saying it is the most sexiest sport or something).

Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is in fourth place, conspiratorially squinting at everyone else and Call of Duty: Black Ops something something something fifth place.

The top ten:

1. Dead Space 2
2. LittleBigPlanet 2
3. FIFA 11
4. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
5. Call of Duty: Black Ops
6. Just Dance 2
7. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
8. Wii Fit Plus
9. Art Academy
10. Just Dance
