Odd thing happens at E3, people vaguely surprised

AMONG THE surreal moments of this year’s E3 (a man removing his head, a maniac clown driving an ice cream truck) was a bizarre Toy Story 3 themed “flashmob.” Flashmob is in inverted commas there because it isn’t really a flashmob if it’s organised by a multi-million dollar corporation like Disney, is it?

Although almost certainly a funnier-if-you-were-there moment, the three eyed Martians are a series favourite and to see over a hundred people popping up without warning to bust some moves still manages to provoke a smile.

Disney Interactive Studios is promoting the Toy Story 3 game release on July 16 to coincide with the new movie which will be released in cinemas on July 23 in the UK. The movie follows Woody, Buzz and the gang as they are dumped in a day-care centre after their owner Andy departs for college to get krunk and chug kegs like a total bro. Chuh.
