Hello, Stranger
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD coming to PSN next Easter
THE LAST Oddworld game to grace consoles will be returning in HD for download on PlayStation Network, developers Just Add Water announced.
The studio has been working closely with Oddworld Inhabitants to develop games in the Oddworld series and this looks to be the first of many announcements about the franchise.
“Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is the first project in what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship,” said Stewart Gilray, Managing Director of JAW. “Having the chance to update this great title and release it on PS3 is just a brilliant opportunity, not least for us, but for the fans too.”
Unfortunately for Xbox 360 owners the game looks to be a PlayStation exclusive. Which is weird considering it was only out for Xbox when it originally appeared in 2005.
Technical language abounds!
“720p visuals; much more detail in the characters; normal mapping and self-shadowing; re-mastered dialogue, support for PlayStation®Move; and additional bonus material still to be revealed.”
