Oh no, not again: Resolution’s new direction…

Oh my goodness, we’ve changed again.

The thing is, a bit ago, we realised we’d kind of been doing things our own way, and a bit blindly.  We hadn’t stopped to consider what other people wanted to see in Resolution.  We wanted to stick with our principles, ideals and ethics, of course, but in terms of presentation and format, we weren’t really sure.  We’d played around with a couple of templates for the magazine, but putting the magazine itself together had always been troublesome.

So we decided to change.  To something a bit more permanent.

This is how Resolution will stay for the foreseeable future.  Everything’s here on one handy website.  We can update it regularly, bringing you games commentary when it’s relevant, not weeks later.  You can post comments on all our articles, and sign up to the forum and site simultaneously.  You can search and browse with ease.  It’ll take us a bit of time to get our entire back catalogue of reviews, columns and features into the new system, but we’re already working on it, and it should be done soon enough.

Be sure to keep talking to us – in the comments threads on our articles, on the forum and via email.  We always want to know what you think, and we want to build a brilliant community of thoughtful gamers.  We hope you like the new look and format.  It seems to be working perfectly well from our end, but if you notice any problems, be sure to point them out.
