Woo Lewis, what a sly 36 CrazyFists reference. Nicely done.

A warning though: don't use that picture of the lady without a top as your N4G image - the site may die under traffic numbers soaring into the billions.

Very good review Lewis, the game sounds very, very interesting! Been following it on the IPL forums for quite a while and have often been in touch with The LxR, great bunch of devs! Looking forward to getting this myself.

This is a very good review!
And in my comment I didn't mean to criticize it. :)

Ah, the first English review. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy all around.

I am happy that you managed to understand what The Void is about and what feelings protrudes from it's inwards, the raw emotions it plants in your mind while leaving without hope from salvation.

Good review all in all, now if only you could hear the Russian voices... ;)

(And, for the record, repetition wasn't really a huge problem, save for the very early sections. It finds a sort of trance-like flow, if anything.)

The LxR is correct in that there are elements that I've not had the chance to try out - though I've had a good look into these aspects of the game and they do look interesting. I'd definitely maintain, though, that a lot of people aren't going to get anywhere near that far, despite the game being incredibly interesting. We'll definitely try to get another piece on The Void up in the future when we've had the chance to fully explore everything it has to offer, but for now, I'll still heartily recommend it to anyone interested in an obscure yet hugely creative game.
