Runescape developer making sci-fi MMO

JAGEX GAMES Studio, developer of browser based MMORPG Runescape (and others), is making a sci-fi MMO to be released some time in 2011.

Stellar Dawn will be have “deep and compelling science fiction storylines and a variety of gameplay styles.” Apart from that there ain’t a lot of details. Although it is known that it’ll be playable on both PC and Mac thanks to Jagex online-games platform and that a “sizeable proportion” of the game will be free-to-play, reflecting previous business models of the studio.

Hark! A mildly interesting yet unnecessary quote to make up the word count.

“Stellar Dawn will be Jagex’s biggest release to date and everyone at the studio is absolutely electric with excitement as we enter the final stages of development,” said Mark Gerhard, Jagex CEO.
