Issue 1...

Bloody hell.  Am I dreaming?

What a month to start.  Granted, we decided to cheat a little and combine two months of releases into one bumper reviews section, but still.  Stratospheric scores are flying around all over the place, and I'm astonished to be able to confirm that it's not the result of any over-zealousness on our writers' part.  We have five (count 'em) genuinely special, absolutely essential videogames to choose from here.  In an ideal world, every one of you would buy them all.  In these times of recession, you'll have to make do with shoving them on your Christmas list and getting other people to buy them for you.

It's truly the most exciting time to be a gamer, with the sheer amount of quality titles outweighing any other period I can remember.  Getting all giddy about these beautiful games led us to reminisce about those titles of yesteryear, the ones that absolutely defined our idea of what this medium can achieve.  You can read about our past loves by clicking that link to the right.

There's more, too.  But you'll probably be alright to just have a look for yourselves, won't you?  Until next month...

What is Resolution?
Resolution is a monthly videogames e-zine run primarily by a group of egocentric misfits in Leeds, UK.

It's all delivered in the lovely, straightforward format of HTML, so you've no silly PDF files to download. We aim to talk about videogames in the most diverse and relevant way possible, meaning we've the standard 'news and reviews' gubbins, but also plenty of other worthwhile articles for you to cast your watchful eyes over.

We do this because we bloody love videogames, we bloody love writing about them, and we're bloody proud of both of these facts. We hope that you - yes, sir/madam, you! - can share in this gleeful excitement about this most wonderful of creative media, and that you enjoy reading the words what we have written.
