The open-world game “Death Stranding” by the game developer Hideo Kojima has had a very positive response since November 8, 2019, on Playstation 4 and since July 14, 2020, on PC. The Director’s Cut is supposed to top it all off.

Most will probably have looked twice the first time they saw “Death Stranding”. Who is fighting against stranded death, the majority should already be known as “Darrel” from the series “ The Walking Dead ”. Norman Reedus brings the story of an apocalyptic world to life together with actors such as Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, or Lindsay Wagner.

After humanity is almost wiped out by explosions for unknown reasons, those who are left in the rubble trying to survive. This devastating event is followed by the invasion of the planet by supernatural beings. These are souls from the realm of the dead who also want to exterminate the rest of its inhabitants. As if that weren’t enough, the world is now also hit by unpredictable natural disasters. Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, tries to ensure the survival of civilization. This should be achieved through goods and goods that he can find in the destroyed world.

WHAT IS “DEATH STRANDING” ABOUT?

As the developer Hideo Kojima revealed in an interview, it should become clear to players how important it is to build bonds with other people. The core of “Death Stranding” is building bridges. Regardless of whether the rugged society finds each other again or the player experiences the game with like-minded people all over the world. Without ever having seen another player, you can help out with important items and pass on safe locations to others. In addition to the souls from the realm of the dead, you will also fight against bandits, whom you can kill or bypass skillfully in case of doubt. The game allows the player to choose whether to act aggressively or tactically.

THAT CHANGES IN THE DIRECTOR’S CUT

The Director’s Cut of “Death Stranding” is particularly exciting news for PS5 owners. In addition to a further developed combat system and more options for your character to act, there will be a competitive ranking list for challenges. Extended content will also give old fans their money’s worth. New missions and mini-games in expanded areas, additional weapons and vehicles, and new opponents in new locations such as the “Shooting Range” or the “Race Track” – all of this is waiting for you. Players would also be happy to receive one or two likes for their game constructions in your world. Perhaps you will reciprocate with your own work or with resources in their world.

Death Stranding

The digital deluxe edition of “Death Stranding” has an avatar set, a digital mini-artbook, a new suit and power glove colors, and some in-game products such as backpack patches. It will cost 59.99 euros for the PS5 and 49.99 euros for the PS4. The standard version for both consoles is also 49.99 euros. The Deluxe Edition is more profitable for PS4 owners.
