The Beijing Capital International Airport is the world’s busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic. It serves more than 89 million passengers a year and connects to over 350 destinations around the globe. The airport serves as a hub for Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and China Airlines. The Beijing Capital Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is the airport’s original terminal that was opened in 1959. It was renovated in 2007 and again in 2011. Terminal 2 is a newer terminal that was opened in 2008.

Dubai Airport: The World’s Second Busiest Airport

The Dubai International Airport is the world’s second busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic. It serves more than 83 million passengers a year and connects to over 180 destinations across the globe. The airport serves as a hub for several major airlines such as Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Fly Dubai, Gulf Air, Air France, KLM, British Airways, and Virgin Atlantic. The Dubai International Airport has three terminals. The original terminal, Terminal 1, was opened in 1971. Since its opening, the terminal has undergone two major renovations. The first renovation occurred in 1992 and the second renovation came in 2006. Terminal 2 opened in 1998, and Terminal 3 is a newer terminal that was opened in 2013.

Changi Airport Singapore: Third Busiest Airport In The World

The Changi Airport in Singapore is the world’s third busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic. It serves more than 78 million passengers a year and connects to more than 200 destinations around the globe. The airport serves as a hub for Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Eva Air, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Malaysian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Swiss, Taiwanese airlines, and Virgin Atlantic. The Changi Airport has four terminals: Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4. Terminal 1 opened in 1981 and Terminal 2 opened in 1985. Terminal 3 opened in 2002 and Terminal 4 opened in 2008.

Tokyo Haneda Airport: Fourth Busiest Airport In The World

The Tokyo International Airport in Haneda is the fourth busiest airport in the world for passenger traffic. It serves more than 76 million passengers a year and connects to over 250 destinations around the globe. The airport serves as a hub for the following airlines: All Nippon Airways, ANA, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, Delta, Hawaiian Airlines, Jet Airways, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, and Thai Airways. The Tokyo International Airport has two terminals. The original terminal, Terminal 1, was opened in 1952. Terminal 2, a newer terminal, was opened in 1978.
